Karl Roberts, known professionally as CyberKarl, is a UK based cybersecurity expert and Armed Forces veteran recognised for his resilience, discipline and strategic approach to protecting organisations.

His journey began at 16, when he joined the British Army with no formal qualifications. The experience shaped his leadership, adaptability and mission-focused mindset, qualities that now define his approach to cybersecurity and governance.

After leaving the military, Karl transitioned into IT and cybersecurity, rapidly advancing through senior roles that combine technical depth with strategic oversight.
Today, he holds globally recognised certifications including CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CCZT and ISO 27001:2022 Lead Auditor, reflecting his commitment to excellence, integrity and continual learning.

Across more than two decades, Karl has partnered with respected organisations including DHL Supply Chain, NHS Supply Chain, BFBS, and ISMS.online, delivering innovative cybersecurity strategies across healthcare, logistics, media and technology.
